Meet the team

Flynn is a grey welsh cob gelding, who captures people through his curious and outgoing nature.
He is the first one in the herd to come check out visitors, their clothes, shoes and pockets.
Flynn is an active pony, enjoying challenges and obstacles when people tune into his needs and communicate clearly.
Our oldest family member is Phoebe, a chestnut miniature shetland mare who 28 years old.
She is gentle and quiet, and many have said that her eyes are a mirror into the soul.
Phoebe often gets chosen by people seeking calm and building trust.
Stout, our Clydesdale Warmblood mare, watches from the sidelines before she decides whether she wants to interact or not.
Despite her majestic height, she is a gentle giant responding to subtle energies of humans, carefully respecting space boundaries.
Many have felt her big heart, especially when going through difficult times and grief.
Mickey is a paint miniature shetland gelding, best friend to Phoebe and Fern, kind-hearted and full of beans.
He likes being included in the action whether that is brushing or leading exercises.
Mickey likes following young and old around the paddock, and curiously exploring his environment and the human visitor.
Rosalie, aka ‘Rosie’, is our black, fluffy shetland mare, who at the sight of a human with a brush will come running.
It took her some time to practise her social skills with her herd mates and settle down into her safe little family but she can now be seen to share her hay with others. Phew!
With humans she is nothing but kind and gentle and loves attention and cuddles from young and old.
Fern is a young mare in training to become a reliable therapy horse.
Whilst Fern is learning, we allow her to participate when she wants to and all our clients love her beautiful, gentle nature.
She greets people with curiosity and has at times ‘included herself’ in the therapeutic process, sharing her kind heart and attention when people need it the most.
